Carbon Footprint Assessment

The fourth training workshop was held successfully on 19 July (Friday), attracting more than 60 participants from the toy industry. This workshop explained the methods for calculating product carbon footprints and shared practical case studies on eco-design solutions. It helped the industry more effectively evaluate and reduce the environmental impact of their products.

ESG Workshops

In collaboration with two major toy associations in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Toys Council (HKTC) and the Toys Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong Limited (TMHK) will launch a project entitled “To enhance Hong Kong toy industry players’ awareness and knowledge of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG)” which will be implemented by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and supported by the TSF Fund of Trade and Industry Department (TID), the Government of the HKSAR.

One of the major deliverables of the project is a series of 6 training workshops to support toy industry players in understanding local and international market standards/expectations on ESG requirements, as well as learning how to integrate relevant ESG requirements into daily operations.
